Freakin’ Lane. Why do I have to have friends who are so darn encouraging? Clayre and Ryan, I’ll need your encouragement for this one too. Apparently, doing the half will be easily do-able after the 15k the month before. So I’m starting training very soon. This is not me. This is something I’ve always wanted to do, and I just need to go for it. But it is not me.

If you want to run sometime, please, let’s do it.

Oh, and if you have any training advice for a man of my athletic ability, let’s hear it.

So Rosemary entered this show at Fossil and won. Now her work is hanging in a gallery with Andy Warhol prints. Also known as Northpark Mall, but still. She’s amazing. Here are some pictures from our adventures at NP Mall tonight.

So Greg and I talk yesterday morning. Being that I was raised in the Church of Christ, obviously meaning I know every hymn in the world, he wants me to lead a hymn Sunday morning. I had heard of this hymn, but I had never heard this hymn as best I could recall. So what else is there to do but look for it…

There it is, in all it’s glory. I email G this video to see if it’s the right song, and he responds with, “umm, yeah?”

Jill and I are playing this at church Sunday morning and I couldn’t be more excited about it. Greg was very encouraging and I think it’ll be a neat time that takes us back to a place before delay effects and synthesized strings.
